I don't think there is any place else in Bloomington that offers such a diverse lineup, highlighting the local and regional music scene.
If you want to support local original music Players is the place.
The food is a drawing card on its own, a good variety with something for everyone.
I have no fear of recommending it to new-comers, consistently good.
A couple favorites of mine are the spinach wrap and the personal pita pizza.
All in all its just a comfortable place to go hear some tunes and eat a great meal."

"All the food that I see coming from the kitchen is very attractive.
The portions are generous and made to order.
I have my favorites from the wide variety of dishes on the menu.
I like the Chicken Spinach Wrap loaded with spinach, chicken,
onions, with a fun sauce created by Chef Gerald.
Chef Gerald has recently created a Steak Wrap that is also a
good choice.
The Portabella Mushroom Soup is thick and creamy, layered
with divine flavors.
The chicken wings are cooked to perfection, moist and plump,
offered with or without sauce, (I prefer the dry variety.)
The Personal Pita Pizza is simply perfect.
The Stuffed Seafood Portabella Mushroom is a must, I've had
a variety of the entrées and they've all been beautifully prepared.
Always try to save room for dessert, because Chef Gerald is
always creating something special and new.
It's worth asking about the desserts. They're delicious!
Chef Gerald enjoys what he does and it comes through in the
quality and presentation of the food he and Holly prepare.
I recommend the Players' Pub for a fun dining experience."
